We asked Nick:

Re-signed on for Mursley Development this season, what influenced your choice and were there any other clubs that wanted you?

I really enjoyed my time here last season, there are plenty of good lads down here and I like what the club want to do going forward in the future

How do you feel your season has gone for you personally so far?

I started the season quite well to be honest, I’ve had a few good performances, but then you always have that couple of games where your performances drop and it’s hard to try and bring yourself back up from that

Coming into the winter months now, what is the minimum you expect from now until the end of the season for the squad?

To turn up week in week out and get the job done!

Who has been your biggest influence in football?

Probably my Dad, he’s always been quite tough on me, but with the right intentions

Describe how your last 2 games have been?

They’ve not been too great to be honest, in both games we just couldn’t get started. Last week we went three-nil down then we had a ten-minute spell where we pulled it back to three all, this week we were beaten by an alright Twyford team, they scored a decent freekick and we just couldn’t finish

Home to Iver Heath this week in cup action, do you know anything about them & what are you expecting from them?

I don’t know anything about them, I think they’re a level above us. We’re expecting what we normally expect, every game is a cup final and we have got to go out there and get the job done!

Who is the biggest moaner in the dressing room?

Sam Clubley … if there’s something to moan about then he will moan about it

Sam Clubley

What is your typical pre-match routine before you get to the ground?

I tend to go to work before football really, listen to a bit of music, just kind of relax to be honest

What has been the proudest moment for you in football to date?

I played at MK when I was younger, & played at an alright standard before getting injured

In your current squad, who is the most under rated player in your opinion?

Gianni Palmiero, he’s come into the squad and when he’s played has been unreal

Who has the worst dress sense at the club?

Sam Cartwright without a shadow of a doubt!

What has been the worst piece of advice anyone has ever given you?

I don’t think I’ve ever had any bad advice

When you leave the football pitch on a Saturday, what is the first result you look for elsewhere, and why?

I’ll have a look at the Premier League games, and then have a look at the lower league teams

Who is the last person you would let choose the music in the dressing room (or car) on matchday, and why?

This one is a tough one, but I want to say Graham Anderson, he’s got a bit of everything on the playlist

What’s the one game left this season you most want to win and why?

We want to win every game, in this league every game is important, whether it’s a cup game or a league game

Finally, after you’ve saved a hatrick of penalties on Saturday, what can supporters buy you in the bar afterwards?

Well it wouldn’t be a first time for me! A couple of bottles of Peroni will go down nicely!

I also just want to thank Sport Shots for all the coverage!

Sports Shots would like to thank Nick for his time this week
