MK Robins produced an excellent display as they caused a Buildbase FA Vase upset.
Terry Shrieves saw his side return from step 5 Essex Senior League, Premier Division outfit Hadley with a 2-0 victory.
Alex Filip’s defected effort gave the Robins a first half lead at the break.
Owusu Kyeremateng produced a stunning double save to keep the visiting Robins ahead minutes into the second period.
With six minutes remaining, George Shrieves lobbed the goalkeeper to give his side a two-goal advantage.
Within a minute Shrieves was played in again and the home side’s central defender brought him down. He was subsequently sent off for being the last man.
Two minutes later, another Hadley player picked up a second yellow and the home side were reduced to nine players.
The final whistle blew to see the Robins go into the second round draw.
