Numbers beginning to add up for Old Bradwell United FC

Old Bradwell United moved to the top of the Spartan South Midlands Football League Division Two table on Wednesday night with a two goal victory at previous league leaders Berkhamsted Raiders.

Two first half strikes from Jakk Pursey & Tommy Cooke were enough at The Sadiku Stadium to see the Milton Keynes based side go top of the league, above their opponents on goal difference and with a game in hand.

United now face two week-ends of cup games before they resume league duties, this Saturday they host Premier Division Colney Heath who sit third in that league, in the SSMFL league challenge trophy, they then host fellow second division side Mursley United a week later in the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy, the competition that Old Bradwell won last season.
