Gawcott and Hillesden came out on top with a 9 wicket victory against Crown. After winning the toss and electing to field, Alex Piggott’s side reduced their opposition to 138 for 8 in 38 overs.
Young Finley Clark was the pick of the bowlers with three for 22.
In reply, Gawcott’s opening pair of John Richardson and Alex Piggott reached a 100 partnership without being troubled by the bowlers before they reached their target with one wicket down.
Piggott was dismissed for an excellent half century and Richardson finishing unbeaten on 45.
