Oxfordshire are using our three pre-season games – this one, 2 x T20s against Free Foresters at Abingdon School on Easter Monday and a 50-over game against Buckinghamshire at Aston Rowant on Sunday 28th April, to look at some new players that have been training with the squad over the winter. These players selected for this day are batsmen George Sandbach and Will Sutcliffe from Oxford Downs and Thame Town, respectively, Buckingham seamer Russell White and Oxford MCCU leg spinning all-rounder, Mohammed Rizvi. It is also a chance to look at seamers Matt Warner and Robbie Shurmer in white-ball cricket after impressing in championship games last summer.
