SSMFL D1: Clarkson hits treble as Robins smash in six in away victory

Jack Clarkson struck a treble as Milton Keynes Robins eased to a 6-2 victory at Brimsdown in the Spartan South Midlands League, division 1 on Saturday afternoon.

The Robins were level when Uings played a ball over the top, a mix up at the back between the Brimsdown keeper and centre back left Clarkson with an empty net to slot into.

The away side were soon ahead; Uings again played a ball over the top, the Brimsdown keeper missed his clearance leaving Clarkson another empty net to score into.

Clarkson wrapped up his hat-trick as yet another Uings ball over the top is miskicked by the Brimsdown keeper straight to the Robins striker, who made no mistake.

Moments after the restart, Brimsdown pulled a goal back to make it 2-3.

Uings free kick found Marius, who drilled a low cross. The Brimsdown keeper stopped the initial cross, but Judickas fired in the Robins’ fourth.

Kelvin Osei-Addo lobbed the goalkeeper to extend the Robins lead after another through ball from Uings.

The Robins wrapped up the scoring with their sixth when Marius picked the ball up inside the box and bent it into the far top corner from 18 yards.
