Its true Stotfold are unbeaten in 2019 after finally securing their first win of the current campaign, bottom of the table Stotfold overcame fellow strugglers Harpenden Town 2-1, is this the kick start they needed to mount a title winning run? There were also surprises at the top of the table, leaders Tring Athletic were beaten at home by Crawley Green (1-2) and likewise fourth placed Biggleswade United saw their fun run of results ended as they too lost 1-2 at home, Nicholas Kerley netting the winner and his second of the game in the 90+5 minute for the visiting Oxhey Jets. Hadley move up to second following their 3-0 home success against Edgware Town for whom Emmanuel Hammond netted the weekend’s only hat-trick. London Tigers eased their relegation fears with a 3-0 win at North Greenford United FC while Cockfosters remain in the bottom two after going down 1-3 at London Colney. Elsewhere Potton United were 2-1 winners at Leighton Town while Colney Heath and Wembley battled out a goalless game.
