Alex Kedzierski has spoken with Sports Shots as he fires on all fronts with Winslow United and Aylesbury Flooring.
The highly-talented midfielder spoke of his season, thus far, firstly of last weekend’s disappointing defeat at Harefield United for the Elmfields gate-based outfit.
Saturday was disappointing. The score line didn’t reflect the game. We were in control, had plenty of chances to finish the game off which we didn’t and it cost us. It’s the same every week we create so many chances and take them. This week we just couldn’t score. They scored off a mistake and it got there spirits up we was always on the back foot from there and need to make sure we bounce back and learn from it. As the best teams who win leagues can win 1-0 and see a game out. We need to be better as this league is ours to lose.
But morale in camp is good especially after the last week we’ve had. Was disappointing to drop the points but we’ll be straight back at it this week to put it right. We’ve been flying. So Saturday we have to get back to it. We’ve beaten them twice already, comfortably, so I don’t see why Saturday will be any different. We just need to take our chances and get back to winning ways.
We take every game as it comes. We know teams are more worried about playing us than we are about them. We still have a quarter-final to play so, hopefully, we can go all the way in that also.
Last Sunday, Aylesbury Flooring, Kedzierski’s Sunday side, recorded a 7-0 win at Leighton Madrid in the FA Sunday Cup.

Reflecting on last week, Kedzierski explained.
Sunday with Aylesbury Flooring was a massive win for us.
It’s such a good buzz. We’ve got a good team and don’t see why we’d can’t go all the way. We don’t know much about the other team but we are not worried. We know we’re good enough to beat anyone. We’re confident. It’s a good experience also to get a coach up and travel away.
We’re all looking forward to it very much.
The game at Jacks in Wolverhampton will take place on Sunday 20th January, 1pm.
