Buckingham Athletic were in outstanding form as they defeated Brimsdown 6-0 at Stratford Fields.
The home side were missing numerous players for the Spartan South Midlands League, Division 1 clash but it made no difference.
Sam Olawale put the home side in front after being played in down the left with the Brimsdown defence stretched. With the goalkeeper off his line, Olawale calmly bent the ball in to the far corner of the net.
The second half started with recent signing Ricci Wigg played in and he slotted past the outcoming goalkeeper with a good finish to make it two-nil.
Olly Golding side-footed home as the Athletic went three goals ahead.
Wigg was played in down the right-hand side of the penalty area. The striker showed strength to get ahead of the visiting defender, who upended him, and the referee pointed to the spot. Skipper Neil King stroked the ball into the corner of the goal from 12 yards to make it four.
The home side were on the front foot and were denied more goals by good defending, some excellent saves and missed opportunities.
An Ash Farmer cross saw a number of players collide on the penalty spot, with the ball dropping to Ryan Marsden. The Athletic central defender then rolled the ball into an empty net.
The scoring was rounded off as under 18 striker Nathan Toxtle-Bell netted his first goal in senior football with number six.
The result takes the Athletic up to eighth in the table.
