Thame United face a difficult looking FA Trophy tie at Royston Town but assistant manager Stuart Blaik insists they are going to ‘compete and get a result’.
After last weekend’s 5-0 defeat at Peterborough Sports, Thame have been busy this week.
Last week the game was gone after the first twenty minutes but in the second half we improved. Fair play to them they deserved to win but we didn’t turn up, which was disappointing.
This week we changed things around and trained on the main pitch on Monday evening instead of Tuesday. It gave us a great opportunity to work on a number of things which we addressed from Saturday’s defeat.
This weekend we go to Royston, who will be a hard proposition. But we will go there, compete, and look to get a result.
