The Bucks CCC skipper told Sports Shots:

After a disappointing day one performance and overall result in the last match, I feel we can still take some positives from the performance.

The bowlers all bowled well during the game and every batsman worked really hard to ensure that Lincolnshire had to bat for a second time and again Payney (Michael Payne). He has scored 3 hundreds in 3 games which is a very special achievement and nothing more than he deserves as he’s worked very hard this year and is reaping the rewards.

We move onto Cambridge this weekend, the main thing from my point of view is how we bounce back, a poor performance doesn’t make us a poor side but it will be up to us to show what we can do.

We will have Gary Park back for the match which obviously is a massive boost he brings massive amounts of skill but also huge knowledge and experience.

We will also have a debutant in Brandon Allen. Robin (Pritchard) is away for the week and luckily Gloucestershire have lent us Brandon for the game. He is a Bucks lad who’s been doing really well with Gloucestershire over the last couple of years so hopefully he can put in a memorable debut performance.
