Unicorns Championship ED: Bucks grab dramatic victory with four balls to spare

Bucks won their Unicorns Championship Eastern Division opener with just four balls of the game remaining at Tring Park today.


Going into the final over of the day, Bedfordshire were 313 for 8 with the defiant Andy Reynoldson on 159 and on strike. Matthew Rance trapped Reynoldson leg before with the first ball of the over before Shelvin Gumbs held a catch the very next ball to secure a dramatic victory.

Rance finished the day with an outstanding seven for 103 from a marathon 38.2-over spell while Cameron Parsons picked up three for 36.

A special mention must go to Reynoldson who held up Bucks with a brilliant innings.

The result sees Bucks go joint top after the first round of matches.
