What were your thoughts on the 5-3 win against Biggleswade United?

Biggleswade was a tough game. We went over there expecting to win and for most of the game we were dominant and played some quality football at times but we also switched off for 10 minutes at the end of the first half which cost us and saw us go in 2-2 after being 2-0 up. We learnt from this and put it right in the second half! Overall it’s 3 points and we were very happy coming away from there.

What are your thoughts heading into the away game against Binfield Reserves in the B&B Quarter Final tomorrow?

Binfield will be a tough game but we know on our day we can beat anyone. We have to respect Binfield as they wouldn’t have got this far if they weren’t a good team. Team morale is high at the moment with the quality of football we are playing and results are starting to come. Faz and Wilko have got us playing the right way and we will go over there and give it everything to make sure we get to the semis!

How do you feel the season has gone to date?

Overall the season has gone well. We have got better as the season has gone on and like I said results are starting to come. We have quite a few games in hand on teams above us which if we win could see us jump up the table as well. Along with the cup run we are happy with how it has gone.

How far do you think Winslow can go in this competition?

We want to go all the way. We have the squad to do it and the strength in depth. Of course, we must take it game by game with Binfield next. They will be up for it playing at their place as well so it’s important to make a good start. We are only 2 games from the final now and we strongly believe we can make it.

Anything else you would like to add?

Just like to Say a big thanks to Sports Shots covering Winslow United F.C. Both teams appreciate it. Also, to Wilko and Faz for their hard work this season which we all appreciate!
