B&B Senior Trophy, QF: Winslow eye semi-final berth

Winslow United will be looking to progress into the last four of the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy when Langley visit Elmfields Gate on Saturday afternoon.

Striker Daniel Parsons told Sports Shots of the excitement in the United camp ahead of the game.

We are at home so it is great to get the fans and another chance to win a trophy.

Last weekend, United recorded another three points as they also are fighting for promotion in the league too.

It was a great win that I think we deserved as we dominated spells of the game. The gaffer told us hold and defend then counter, exactly what they did to us away at their ground. We were happy that we got a win and three points.

Parsons has seen United enjoy a good campaign.

I’ve been at the club from start of this season, every game, even though I had a ban to serve so it has been positive seeing were we came from were we are now.

With Winslow United, Parsons is expecting their run to keep going.

The fans are great and their support for us is excellent. From the first minute to the last the get behind us and we appreciate it.
