Sean Coles

Coles, who has been in a hot scoring streak this campaign, has seen his United side win their last two fixtures 3-2 in tough away games; Risborough Rangers and Enfield Borough.

United now start a with eight of their next ten games being at Elmfields gate.

Coles told Sports Shots;

We have just passed the half-way mark and sit in 3rd position after the two massive results against Risborough and Enfield in the last 2 weeks, how do you feel the season has gone to date?

It’s going well but I can’t help but feel we could have had even more points, but it feels the rub of the green hasn’t gone with us this season and we have missed some good chances in games.

Congratulations once again on breaking the 30-goal barrier and being the first player locally to break that target, what’s your personal goals for the rest of the season?

Yeah it feels really good to get to 30 already but I always want to score and getting the 3 points is the main thing, I’ve set myself a target of getting to 50 for the rest of the season.

Tomorrow we face Brimsdown who beat us 4-2 last time out in what was a really disappointing result for us, what are your expectations from Brimsdown and the game?

Yeah Brimsdown are a very good side and their striker scored 4 good goals against us last time out but we are stronger at the back and I think we can get the 3 points.

We are heading into a run of home games now, just how important can home advantage be for us and can the fans play a part in turning The Gate into a fortress?

Yeah home games are good, but our pitch isn’t the best. The support from the fans has been massive all season and we are hoping they will turn out in numbers, get behind us from the off as they have done all season and roar us to another big 3 points.

Kick-off at Elmfields gate is 3pm
