Wednesday is a big day for both the club and myself. It’s the first time that the development team at Buckingham have been within 90 minutes of a place in a final and it’s a big game for me personally as this will be my first semi final as a manager.

We are still without Chris Ikeaikhe and Michael Davison but we welcome back our top scorer Josh Hooper into the squad. Midweek away games are always a little complicated with player availability but for this game I’m pleased to say we have a strong squad travelling to Harpenden.

We’ve been fortunate to already travel to Harpenden this season in the league so we have an idea of how they might set themselves up with their strengths and weaknesses, but as we all know, the players in the development team could change weekly due to first team commitments or lack of games.

Thanks again to everyone at Sports Shots for all the work they do and hopefully we will have a place in the final come the final whistle on Wednesday evening!
