The Athletic Development have enjoyed a good cup run and face a trip to Harpenden Town Development in the semi-final of the league’s Development Challenge Trophy next Wednesday.

Honor said:

Looking ahead to Tuesday, we have a full squad available to us except for Michael Davison and Chris Ikeaikhe, who are away for the Christmas period. We have a couple of players in the squad that have been out for a while so the minutes on Tuesday will be vital to their progress back to full fitness.

We are very privileged to have such a competitive and talented squad so I have definitely had some selection problems and unfortunately some players will miss out, which I know is very frustrating especially with it being a derby day.

We haven’t had a game for quite a while now, since the 19th December, so I am hoping any rustiness has gone by the time the whistle blows to start the game.

I am sure that the boys will be raring to go and eager to follow in the first teams footsteps by bringing three points back to Buckingham on Tuesday night.

Thanks from everyone at Buckingham Athletic Development to everyone at Sports Shots for all the hard work they put in and I hope you have a great 2018!
