CS&TFL,D1: Robins defeat Potton to go third – Next up S&L Corby

Buckingham Town are back up to third in the ChromaSport & Trophies League, Division 1.

This weekend the Robins host S&L Corby at Manor Fields, 3pm start.

In midweek the Robins secure a vital three points against a very strong Potton United, inflicting just their third league defeat of the season.

Kelvin Osei-Addo converted a penalty on 26 minutes to put the Robins in front.

Former Robins frontman Aaron Murrell headed home an equaliser on 38 minutes to take his Potton side in level with his old club at the break.

Chris Wreh put the Robins back in front on 65 minutes but Danny Webb levelled again just five minutes later for the visitors.

Wreh got the winner 13 minutes from time with a curling shot that nestled into the bottom corner.

George Shrieves hit the post for the Robins in injury-time but it was the Manor Fields club who took the three points to go third.
