Mursley United travelled to AFC Southgate on Saturday and were defeated 3-2 in a tight game.
Behind to an own goal inside two minutes, the visitors responded when an Adam Bone free kick was diverted into the home net by a defender and were ahead through Bone again after twenty five minutes.
A Danny Clarke effort hit the post and Lewis Delahaye was ruled offside as he finished neatly, but the hosts equalised around ten minutes after half-time.
An even second half followed with Delahaye going close and with five minutes left a sharp break by Southgate, found Sam Jay making a good point-blank save before Phinn-Archer scored from the rebound.
