Horsler told Sports Shots:

We beat MK AIR by 8 wickets last week.

Air won the toss and opted to bat first. Opening bowlers Aiden Birch and Ben North bowled with great pace and swing. Aiden bagged 1-22 off 8 and Ben returned figures of 3-19 off 12, including a brilliant catch at slip from me! Ian Chapman came on and was excellent with figures of 4-7 off 5 and Euan Davies 1-33 off 7, including another excellent diving catch from me! We bowled out air for 122.

In reply Dan Wood hit a quick fire 19 before being caught going for another big hit. Ian Chapman hit a steady 23 but it was Michael Baker who remained unbeaten on 57 and Swapnil Khedekar 11 that capped off an excellent performance.

This week we travel to Marston St Lawrence, once again managing to get a strong enough team. Michael Baker, Matt Copping, Tom North, Euan Davies and brother Cameron are all unavailable but we welcome back Stu Chapman, Nick Chapman and Martin Thomas.
