Twyford United lead the table on 46 points however MK Gallactico and Southcott Village are one point behind and have games in hand. MK Gallactico have five games to play,  Southcott have two games left to play.

The first twenty minutes was fairly even with neither side creating any real chances. Clean Slate’s Daniel Becks could have given the bottom placed side a shock lead when he latched on to John Ikioumoton good through ball. As he beat Twyford keeper Colin Piggott he was forced wide and shot wide of the post. Twyford’s Sam Wood broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute. Martin Dearlove’s clever pass into the area found Wood, who fired the ball past Russell Sachar in the Clean Slate goal. Once the deadlock was broken Twyford had numerous chances to increase their lead. In the 41st minute Johnny Ayris doubled the lead for Twyford. Dearlove’s dangerous corner into the box saw Ayris beat the Clean Slate defence and his powerful header put Twyford 2-0 up.  Ryan Sunderland did score with a neat finish just before half time but this was disallowed for offside. However it did not take long for Sunderland to finally get on the goal sheet.

Five minutes into the second half Sunderland was able to latch on to Dearlove’s long through ball and Sunderland slotted home with a good finish. Dave Barnes clever free kick into the box saw Ayris score another headed goal to make it 4-0. Daniel Becks did score a consolation goal for Clean Slate with a good finish as he was able to connect to a good cross into the area. However any hope of Clean Slate getting back into the game were soon dashed as Ryan Sunderland scored two further goals with some good finishing to seal victory for Twyford Utd.
