SSML2; Loughton Manor 3-1 The 61 FC (Luton)

Loughton Manor – 3

The 61 F.C. (Luton) – 1

One of the few games on Saturday that survived the weather locally saw Loughton Manor play their first match at their new home, the Recreation Ground at New Bradwell, and begin with a win over 61 FC in their new surroundings.

Russell Whitcombe opened the scoring for the home side inside five minutes, but the visitors drew level mid way through the half when Bradley Currington blasted home from the penalty spot.

As the skies darkened and the rain continued, Loughton left it late but sealed the points with another shot from Whitcombe from outside the area that went in off the post, before James Davey smashed home from long range.
